2025

PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is a game made by AshMakesGames, Surasshu, and myself in one week for Itch.io's 2025 Falling Blocks Game Jam.

PCB is played by dropping Blocks and Components using WASD. Pieces do not rotate. The player then draws Traces from Power Sources on the side of the board with LMB. Components can be connected to Power Sources; once enough Components are connected, players progress to the next Brand (Level). Players can connect multiple with a single Trace to perform a combo.

Work presented here is from visual targets and bitmaps made during that week - not everything was able to be implemented within the week of development.

In PCB, each level is a unique Brand – the idea being that you are creating circuit boards for different companies. I created 8 logos to visually support this.

To further differentiate these brands, I created 5 color palettes that fade in and out between levels. Each palette consists of 10 colors; 4 block colors, 4 component colors, a board color, and a background color.
