Graffiti Stencils

A few graffiti stencils made during college. For a while I got really into making stencils of high contrast Baroque paintings. These are just the few on paper tests and test stencils I thought to photograph at the time.

I thought they were worth sharing here because reducing images into large, simplified shapes has been a through line in my work that arguably began here. I definitely, definitely never put stencils up anywhere.
